The Little Mermaid
A bedtime story for magical dreams
Once upon a time, deep in the ocean, there lived a young mermaid named Ariel. She had long red hair, a shiny shimmering tail, and a beautiful singing voice.
Ariel lived in the underwater kingdom with her father, King Triton, and her mermaid sisters. But Ariel was different — she was very curious about the human world.
— “What must it be like to walk with two legs?” Ariel wondered every night, gazing up at the surface.
One day, during a fierce storm, she saw a ship in trouble and saved a young prince named Eric. Ariel fell in love with him at first sight.
But there was one problem: mermaids couldn't live on land… unless they gave up their tail.
Determined, Ariel visited Ursula, the sea witch. The witch made a deal: Ariel would get legs, but she would lose her voice. And if the prince didn’t kiss her within three days, she would return to the sea… forever.
Ariel agreed, and with a flash of magic, she became human. But now, she had to win Eric’s heart without saying a word.
They spent wonderful days together: sailing, watching the sunset, and laughing. Ariel was happy, but she couldn’t tell him her secret.
Just when Eric was about to fall in love, Ursula appeared in disguise — using Ariel’s voice to trick the prince!
But with the help of her friends — Flounder the fish and Sebastian the crab — Ariel stopped the witch and got her voice back.
Eric finally understood everything and helped save Ariel. Seeing his daughter’s true love, King Triton used his magic to turn her into a real human.
Ariel and Eric were married on a beautiful ship, surrounded by applause from mermaids, humans, and sea creatures.
And so, Ariel’s dream came true, and she lived happily ever after — between the sea and the land. 🌊❤️
